Well there’s no reason to be bummed out today even though the Lakers ended the Thunder’s season last night. The Thunder exceeded all of our expectations and even exceeded the expectations of homers like me. Great season and a great game last night. And lets me honest there was no way the Thunder were going to win a game 7 in LA. Read the rest of this entry >>
TKO in the first round (quarter) for the Thunder. It was another terrible shooting night in the Staples Center. There’s the good, the bad and the ugly going forward. Read the rest of this entry >>
If you didn’t get to see the pre game video in Oklahoma City check it out on youtube. I loved this video and it was very well done. Read the rest of this entry >>
Here’s what I want to see tonight for the greater good of the great state of Oklahoma. Read the rest of this entry >>
It’ s going to be crazy crazy LOUD in Oklahoma City tonight! I can’t wait to see the atmosphere in the Ford Center. Home court means a few of those tough shots or WIDE open shots that weren’t falling in LA might just drop tonight on a familiar rim. A little Thunder fan buzz might get that spring back in the Thunder step. 50/50 balls will go the way of the Thunder tonight and there should be a warm reception for the “Coach of the Year” Scott Brooks! If Ron Artest is going to have his hands all over Kevin Durant all game long, he can at least buy him dinner before the game. Just throwing that out there. Read the rest of this entry >>
Welcome to the playoffs! The Thunder got their welcome at the Staples Center last night as the Lakers looked like the team they’re supposed to be. That team being the defending champions with arguably the best player in the game and a very high pay roll to go along with it. The Lakers really upped the intensity and intensity is where I thought the Thunder had the edge. The Lakers came out and punched the Thunder right in the mouth last night. Will the Thunder get up? You have to hand it to the Thunder because they kept getting up time and time again. They just couldn’t close the gap that the Lakers had created. Read the rest of this entry >>

All the hard work pays off today starting at 2 p.m. when they get to play in the playoffs. The only bad thing is it starts off with having to face the defending champion Lakers! Despite who they have to play just making the playoffs has been a huge suprise for a lot of fans. I predicted improvement at the start of the year but in the back of my mind I had 39-40 wins. What they’ve done and the turn around they made is enough for the fans but it’s not enough for the Thunder players. Like all great competitors it’s never enough! While I and most Thunder fans are hoping to steal 1 or 2 I gurantee the “killer instinct” in Kevin Durant and company won’t be satisfied with anything short of winning the series. That’s the type of players you want on your franchise.
